The intensity of the city is immediate. Density, sound and heat settle quickly into the body.

I found myself drawn more to people than to landscape. Encounters happen at close distance and shape the way the camera moves.

The work developed instinctively, allowing those encounters to guide the frame. The images follow the human energy that moves through the city.
