LIGHT IN EXILE

Light in Exile is a poetic documentary centred on Ukrainian artist Veronika Blyzniuchenko. Developed in the context of displacement, the film approaches exile as an interior condition rather than a geopolitical event. Painting becomes a site of continuity, a gesture that holds memory, devotion and quiet resistance.

Structured in four movements, arrival, encounter, creation and legacy. The film unfolds through atmosphere, natural light and material detail. It does not explain. It observes. Through restraint and compositional precision, the work traces how artistic practice transforms rupture into presence.
